Open Configuration Menu

From Moving Pictures

How to Open the configuration menu:

This can be done through the MediaPortal Configuration Application. This can be found by the following:

From the Start Menu: Start->All Programs->Team MediaPortal->MediaPortal->MediaPortal Configuration

From Windows Explorer (Default MediaPortal Install): C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Configuration.exe



Once this has opened the following screen will be viable:

On the left options panel the bottom option will be 'Plugins' left click this option. This will take you to the plugin area of the MediaPortal Configuration Application. Moving-Pictures is a 'Windows Plugin' which means that it has a GUI (Graphical User Interface) within MediaPortal. Moving-Pictures will be in the 'Windows Plugins' area. See below:

If you are unable to find Moving-Pictures listed please make sure that it is installed correctly (link Moving-Pictures install guide.)


When Moving-Pictures is selected from the plugin screen, you will see button options a the bottom of the MediaPortal Configuration Application. These options are as follows:

  • 'Disable' - This option leaves Moving-Pictures installed on your computer, but it will not start with Media-Portal
  • 'In Home' - This option makes Moving-Pictures available from the main MediaPortal screen.
  • 'In Plugins' - This option makes Moving-Pictures available from within the 'Plugins' area. (Plugins is an option from the main MediaPortal screen.)
  • 'Config' - This option loads the configuration application for Moving-Pictures (link to Moving-Pictures config guide)
