Developer's Guide
From Moving Pictures
These pages are intended to get you up to speed on how to work with the Moving Pictures source code and how to work within our development process. These documents are not complete (they will probably always be a work in progress), and they are not gospel. They are a good set of guidelines on how we do things around here though. For development with a group of people to go smoothly, everyone needs to be on the same page, and that is the purpose of this guide.

Communicating and Staying Informed
Your first stop in communication with other people actively contributing to Moving Pictures is our IRC Channel. The channel is very active and the best place to get a hold of one of the developers.
There are various project level RSS feeds available. By subscribing to one or several of these feeds you can more easily keep up to date with changes on the Issue Tracker, new Commits, and new Downloads.
You can also subscribe to our Developer's Google Group, although this is rarely used as IRC is much more immediate.
Setting Up Your Development Environment
